非常 Sex and the City 的一本書，只是沒有一個主要中心的 voice，故事中三個主角就像三個個別的故事，偶爾才會連串起來。其實想一想，這跟生活差不的多，一般好友也都是各自過生活，直到見面/吃飯/聚會時，才會做重點式的 catch up。不過，稍微覺得內容貧乏了一點，或許近幾年這類型的單身都會女性的愛情友情故事太多的氾濫，感受不到愛情部份的浪漫或新鮮，而友誼的呈現當然是遠遠比不上 SATC 的。本來以為 Devil Wears Prada 作者的第二本書會維持風格與水準，strong characters build up and she’s not afraid to tell it like it is，這本真的稍微讓人失望，但當當睡前小說還算是 okay 的啦。
上次購書時，順便也把 Lauren Weisberger 的 Everyone Worth Knowing 給帶回家了… 希望可以比較好看。

OMG! I read this one, too! I gotta say this one is the worst of her 3 novels so far. The writing is just bad, and the content is ughhhh….. If I were to rank the quality of her books, it will be 1st book > 2nd book > 3rd book. (Chasing Harry Winston is the 3rd book.)

1st one is “Devil Wears Prada” it’s somewhere in Vancouver’s 2nd hand bookstore

第二本還是有某種程度的娛樂性, it has some 娛樂圈 insider 八掛. (Of course, she didn’t point out the real names.) Yeah, but that’s pretty much what I did w/ her 3 books–a time killer.
